Bollywood has a number of roles signed for this year. The movies are a mixture of crime, thriller, romance and action.

Here is a list of movies that will do good at the box office because of the star cast as well:

1. Mental Hai Kya : The poster of this movie has done many rounds in social media and people are going absolutely crazy over it. Out of the pictures which were posted, in one of the pictures, Rajkummar Rao was seen cutting an apple. In another picture, Kangana Ranaut was seen sitting with a toaster beside a bathtub. These images have already created curiosity in people’s mind as it can be interpreted at multiple levels.

2. Manmarziyan :

Abhishek Bachchan stepped into Bollywood Refugee and has worked hard for himself in the industry with blockbusters like ‘Guru, ‘Sarkar’, ‘Dostana’, etc. A few days ago he shared a video of himself shaving off his head for his upcoming film ‘Manmarziyan’ which is being directed by Anurag Kashyap. He also shared the script and the shooting is going to start soon in Amritsar, Punjab. He captioned the picture as “Almost time….#manmarziyan.”
The Aanand L. Rai production also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.

3. Baaghi 2 : 

All the actors are finding innovative ways to promote their films and this has now become a tradition. And the actors of these movies are not left behind. Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani are following the footsteps of these actors as well. They have joined this bandwagon of doing something new to attract the audience and they released their trailer by arriving at a venue in a helicopter. As usual, the actor was seen doing some marvellous action sequences on his own. He did the same in his movie as well and did not take help of a body double.

4. Batti Gul Meter Chalu : 

Shahid Kapoor is busy shooting for his next film after enjoying the success of Padmaavat. Shraddha Kapoor is seen sharing his screen space. The shooting has already started and should be ready by the end of 2018.

The shooting is going on in the town of Tehri, Uttarakhand. The film crew is currently shooting around the locals of temples, Khatling glacier, Tehri lake and old world markets of the small town. Both the actors are seen enjoying the local cuisine.

5. Hindi Medium 2 :

Irfan Khan’s ‘Hindi Medium’ had gained fame and popularity. The critics and audience seemed to like it and he also received a Filmfare Award for the Best Actor. The makers of the movie are set to come up with a sequel to the movie. The movie’s name will be ‘Hindi Medium 2’. Irrfan will be seen reprising his role of businessman Raj Batra, albeit a few years older.

6. Blackmail : 

This is the next movie which stars Irrfan Khan

Irrfan Khan will be next seen in Abhinay Deo’s black comedy titled ‘Blackmail’. After a brief teaser, a new poster of the film has emerged and Khan has almost bared it all for this one.

In the poster, the actor can be seen in only his boxers with a paper bag covering his head. Overall, the poster will grab your attention just like the teaser. ‘Blackmail’ is a special film for director Abhinay who is making a comeback to the comedy genre after a gap of seven years. He last made ‘Delhi Belly’ starring Imran Khan.

‘Blackmail’ also stars Kirti Kulhari, Divya Dutta, Arunoday Singh, Omi Vaidya, Anuja Sathe, Pradhuman Singh Mall, Gajraj Rao.

7. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga : 

Father-daughter duo Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor have started shooting for their first film together, ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’. The film that shares its title with Anil’s famous yesteryear romantic number from the film ‘1942: A Love Story’, also stars Rajkummar Rao as the leading man and Juhi Chawla in a prominent role.
Sharing her excitement on working with her father and the ensemble cast, Sonam posted a picture from the sets and captioned it as, “Even work feels like home with Dad & this amazing team! Here’s a glimpse from the sets of #ShellyChopraDhar’s directorial debut.”
Anil shared the same photo and said, “Picture perfect memories! Sharing a moment of pure happiness & fun from the sets of #EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga!”
According to reports, the stars will also recreate the iconic song, which also happens to be the title of the upcoming film.
