It is already known that the actor Sanjay Dutt tied the nuptial knot three times in his life. But, his biographical movie, Sanju, which has received love from all sides, has no mention about his first two wives and daughter – Trishala. And, this turned out to be a hot topic.

So here is all you need to know about Richa, Rhea and Trishala.

Richa Sharma –

Sanjay Dutt met Richa Sharma during the year 1985. She was from New York and came to Mumbai to work in Bollywood.

“I met Richa for the first time at the muhurat of one of my films at Hotel Sea Rock.She was wearing jeans and a multi-coloured top. I inquired as to who she was. A few days later, I called her and asked her to go out with me.I soon realised that Richa was different from the girls I had known before.She was not calculating, manipulative or chasing after money. She was a simple girl, a fantastic person to trust. I could no longer live without her,” Sanjay stated.

The two got married in 1987 and she gave up her movie profession for him. But, their love tale shortly turned sad as Richa was suffering from cancer. She went back to the US for cure. Sanjay came back to India owing to his work while their daughter Trishala, stayed back in US with her grand parents.

In October 1992, Richa came back to Mumbai with Trishala and she was fine. But as per Yasser Usman’s book ‘Sanjay Dutt: The Crazy Untold Story of Bollywood’s Bad Boy’, the actor had already searched new partner.

Old media reports stated that the Sanju was making plans to divorce Richa for Madhuri Dixit. Richa was in shock when Sanju filed for a separation during early 1993. Then, she suddenly returned to New York.

During the same year, he got detained under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act.

Richa had then stated, “At every point in his life, he needs someone he can lean on emotionally. Like he was dependent on Madhuri. Now that she has ditched him, he is going to be a shattered man.”

Richa lost her life in 1996 due to cancer.

Rhea Pillai

According to Ussman’s book, model and lifestyle trainer Rhea first met the actor at his legal representative, Mahesh Jethmalani’s office, while Sanju was out on bail. The super star found the required comfort in her company. But the two got separated during the year 2005.

Trishala Dutt

Trishala stayed with her mom’s family. During 2007, when reports about the actor dating Manyata hit the shelves, she had written a letter to him.

Part of her letter read: “I don’t want you to get married to anybody. I may sound selfish, but it’s my love that’s speaking. I haven’t ever discussed this with you. I don’t know why, but I have a strong hunch that people use you for the wrong reasons… And you are naive not to understand. But I can see through all the games that women play to win you over. I am a girl, Dad, and I know how to extract anything from a guy. I just have to smile and act like a lost babe in the woods. But I am not one and I know exactly what I want. So please don’t get fooled by these acts. You don’t need any other women in your life now. One woman in your life, and that’s me, is good enough… I will be there with you all the time. I want to move back to Mumbai just to be with you. So please hang on.”

We wonder why there was no mention of these three important women of his life in recent release ‘Sanju’
