Accept it or not, Salman Khan’s Race 3 Enters Rs 100 Crore Club

Love it or hate it but Bhai’s movie is breaking the records as always. Fans and critics seemed pretty upset with the third instalment of thriller film Race. Race was a Saif Ali Khan centric film and we were happy with it unless Salman was signed for the third part. The fil defies logic, lacks acting, good lyrics, soulful music and entertainment.

However, we have read enough reviews of the film and some brave hearts have even watched it as well. You might be hating the film, but the film has just entered the 100 crore club.

Salman has a luck attached to Eid. Every year, his film releases on Eid and it creates wonders on the box office.

Race 3 collected Rs 29.17 crore on its opening day, and Rs 38.14 crore on Saturday. On Sunday, the film earned Rs 39.16 crore, making a total of Rs 106.47 crore on its first weekend.

If we compare Race 3 with his previous Eid releases, the film seems to be crossing the benchmark set for his films.

Let’s have a look at the opening weekend collection of his Eid releases:

2010- Dabangg- (Friday to Sunday): Rs 48.50 crore

2011- Bodyguard- (Wednesday to Sunday): Rs 88.75 crore
