Nawazuddin siddiqui to finally work with his brother after five long years

Shamas Siddiqui is all ready to put life into his upcoming projects, “Gehu, Ganna aur Gun” and “Zero Kilometer”. Unlike his last film, these two are going to be full-fledged feature films and he seems very excited about them.

Talking about it, he further added that, “My next film is “Gehu, Ganna aur Gun” and it will have Nawaz Bhai (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) in the lead role. I had written this story in 2013 but now after five long years, I have received his dates. So we will be going on floors with it in March 2019.” He further added that this movie is crime thriller and there is an interesting story behind its title. Nawaz has been questioned many times during his interviews that “What is famous in your family village?” And he always says, “Gehu, Ganna aur Gun”. That’s how Shamas got the idea and decided to title the film “Gehu, Ganna aur Gun.”

The other film the director is working on is “Zero Kilometer”, which revolves around two sisters.

“This film is very close to my heart. It’s a story about two sisters, the younger one is two-year-old and the elder one is six. It’s about their struggle and journey from Pedder Road to Borivali and from there to Delhi and finally, the story ends at Gadwal in the Himalayas.

“It’s a very interesting film, I wrote it in and I just can’t take it out of my heart and mind and so I am making it first. It will go on floors in October,” he said.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a very talented actor and has received many awards for the same.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is known for his works in Hindi cinema. Siddiqui’s breakthrough role was with Anurag Kashyap’s Black Friday(2007), which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles and was a nominee for the Best Film (Golden Leopard) award at the Locarno Film Festival.

He moved to Delhi to pursue his acting aspirations and joined a theater group. Since there was not enough money in theaters, he worked as a watchman to make his subsistence.

He was enrolled in the National School of Drama (NSD), and after passing out of the NSD, he moved to Mumbai in 2004 to pursue his acting career further. Rest all is just history. He is one of the most critically acclaimed actors in India. And his films are promising and a treat to watch. We are definitely looking forward to this new venture between the two Siddiqui brothers.
