A Mumbai Ragpicker Returns Purse With A Cash Of Rs 33,000 Cash To Its Owner And We Are Proud Of Him

In this world full of frauds if someone can get their lost money then literally, there is no one on the earth is luckier than them. Everyone is not fortunate enough to have all the luxuries and for that, they choose the wrong path.

But, the 30-year-old Dipchand Gupta is unlike all those frauds choose the path of integrity over a wrong chance to be rich. Recently, when he sifted through the railway tracks of platform number 5 near the ladies coach at Thane he found a purse with ₹33,000 cash. And, being an example of honesty he returned it to the owner.

He picks up plastic containers from the railway tracks and on Monday morning while doing his work he found a missing purse with Rs. 33, 000 case in it. However, he could have easily seized it but honesty is still alive in some people.

Unbelievably, he took a move that became the ultimate example of trust and honesty, as he went to the station master and explained where and how he found it.

Dipchand handed over that purse to the station master and asked him to take care and return it to the lady. While station master found that the purse belonged to Akshara Mokashi.

He called Akshara to pick her purse at the station which was lost an hour ago. According to the Akshara’s statement, “I realised I’d lost my purse when I got down from the autorickshaw. I called my friend to search for it near the station. We retraced my steps and looked in all the spots I had stopped, but, in the meantime, the ragpicker found it and gave it to a railway official. I am really thankful to him. It’s my hard-earned money. I couldn’t stop crying when I got the call that it had been found.”

In the end, Akshara rewarded Dipchand with the amount of Rs 2500 for his honesty. Well done Dipchand and Akshara!
