Zayn Malik posts a throwback pic from his olden days and Directioners can’t stay mum

On March 25, 2015, when Directioners all over the globe cried their eyes out as Zayn Malik made a declaration that he was quitting the band that comprised Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan.

Whilst on several occasions, Malik has been less than sociable towards his 1D days, in a surprise of sorts, Zayn shared a throwback picture from when he was still a part of One Direction. The black and white photo, which was shared on his Instagram page was from the OTRA concert. What’s interesting to note is that it was three years ago on March 18, when an emotional Zayn performed for the last time with his boys.

Zayn’s caption stated, “Mans is coming.”

Thank you, for making us feels all kinds of feelings, Mr. Malik!

Lately, the Pillowtalk singer has been very active on Insta handle and has also been responding to his buffs. For this picture, when a buff asked the ace singer, “So you still admire your 1D days right!”

To this, the 25-year-old disclosed, “@ashish_lzapd forever grateful and humbled by the times I spent there. Can’t wait to get behind the mic this time with some z though.”

Previously, when Zayn made an announcement about her split, the well-known singer had forwarded a statement that reads as, “My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I’d like to apologise to the fans if I’ve let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart. I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world.”

On the other hand, One Direction added, “We’re really sad to see Zayn go, but we totally respect his decision and send him all our love for the future. The past five years have been beyond amazing, we’ve gone through so much together, so we will always be friends. The four of us will now continue. We’re looking forward to recording the new album and seeing all the fans on the next stage of the world tour.”

After a gap of one year and an album (Made in the AM) afterward, the 4 remaining affiliates of One Direction made their minds to go on a break and concentrate on their solo careers for the time being.
