Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi starrer super hit romantic movie ‘Chandni’ still stands as most iconic flicks in the Hindi film industry. The movie has won accolades from crowds across the country and even won the National Film Award. The movie is from Yash Chopra productions.

On Sunday, Rishi Kapoor’s wife Neetu Kapoor took to Instagram to share a throwback picture of Rishi and Sridevi. She shared the picture from the movie along with a caption that reads, “Reminiscing !!!! When pple said this movie brought back romance in their lives my all-time favorite #chandani.”

The photo showcases Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor shaking their legs against the backdrop of snowy mountains. The photo is from the popular song ‘Chandni’ from ‘Chandni’ movie.

Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi were one of Bollywood’s most loved on-screen couples. They together worked on many super hit movies like ‘Chandni’, ‘Nagina’ and ‘Banjaran’.

Unfortunately, actress Sridevi died at the age of 54 by accidentally drowning in a bathtub in her hotel room in Dubai on February 24 where she had gone to attend the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah.

She ruled the movie industry in different languages like Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam etc.  She has done hundreds of movies with top heroes in various industries. She had a huge fan following in every industry she worked.

She debuted into movies at the age of 4 with ‘Thunaivan’, which is a Tamil devotional movie.  She married producer Boney Kapoor and was away from the films for almost 15 years.  After taking 15 years long break, she made a comeback in 2012 with ‘English Vinglish’.

Her comeback movie was also a big hit and received many accolades and awards for her. Her last film was ‘Mom’ which was released in 2017.  She had not signed any new projects after Mom.

Sridevi’s had two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Her elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor is all set to debut into Bollywood under Karan Johar production house. The movie is a remake of ‘Sairat’, which is a Marathi super hit movie.

The movie is titled as ‘Dhadak’ in Hindi and stars Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles.  Ishaan Khatter is the brother of actor Shahid Kapoor.  While Sridevi is alive, the first poster of the movie got released.  The movie is scheduled to hit the screens on 6^th July 2018.
