The girl gave him an idea on how to reduce noise pollution in different cities across the country. The name of the girl is Mahika Mishra who shared a detailed note regarding the way to lessen the noise pollution. Mr. Mahindra truly impressed after reading the letter and shared it with the entire world.

In the letter, 7th-grade girl wrote, ‘I go on many drives and I have noticed that many people honk unnecessarily – especially in traffic. They do not understand that honking does not make the vehicle move.’ Besides this, the girl included the limitations of honking that include wasting energy, generating unnecessary noise pollution and more.

The fantastic idea is that she asked Mr. Mahindra to include a horn in all the cars manufactured in his company. The horns should have the ability to honk only 5 times in 10 minutes. Each honk should last only for about 3 seconds. This is one of the best ways to reduce the horrible noise on the roads. With this initiative, we can diminish the pollution and make our roads pretty quieter. Read the complete letter provided below:

To this letter, he replied as, ‘At the end of a tiring day, when you see something like this in the mail…the weariness vanishes…I know I’m working for people like her, who want a better-and quieter world!’ Soon, the tweet has grabbed more than 14000 likes and innumerable responses appreciating the suggestion given by a school-going child. We hope Mr. Mahindra might add this feature in his subsequently produced cars.
