The ‘Misaal Mumbai’ initiative by Rouble Nagi is aiming to bring a change in mindset by painting slum areas in Pune

A Mumbai based artist is all set with an initiative to paint the neighboring city Pune with colors. With ambition in mind to paint the streets of Pune in Maharashtra under the ‘Misaal Mumbai’ initiative. Rouble Nagi, who is the founder of NGO Rouble Nagi Art Foundation shared that she wants to connect to the people through her inner talent of art.

According to the reports, Nagi was reported saying,  “Our main aim is not to color the walls but bring a change in their mindset.”

“When I paint 20 walls here, 200 people come & stand with me. I go to their home as a social activist and try to help, they’ll have that speculation that who is she. So we start with coloring, they come out of their homes, & that’s when we tell them what we want to do”, she added to her statement.

With this ‘Misaal Mumbai’ initiative that aims to improve the reality of life for poor people living in slums is really a modest thought to help the poor. There is no bigger satisfaction than being able to do something for others who truly need it.

The tweets shared by people are results of this overwhelming artistic deed. Stay tuned for more scoops.
