The well-known and Ace comedian Raju Srivastav, confirms that he will fight upcoming Parliamentary Election on Bharatiya Janta Party ticket. In an exclusive talk with Laughing Colours, he reveals that he will reserve the Kanpur Lok Sabha seat for BJP. Raju has been involved in many social activities like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, PM Modi himself nominated him Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Brand Ambassador. He also joined BJP’s membership in 2014, since then he was working as a primary member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The popular comedian has been loved by audiences for his witty though heart touching jokes.

Raju started his journey by doing small roles in Bollywood movies. He essayed roles in movies like Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar and Bombay to Goa. He also worked as an actor-comedian with Bollywood movie Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiyaa. He also participated in the talent show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge where he was awarded the title, King of Comedy.

In an exclusive interview with Laughing Colours, Raju himself confessed, “I will represent Kanpur for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as a candidate of BJP.”

Earlier, Raju Srivastav was announced as the chief of Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council. After being selected for the big post, Raju Srivastav said that first of all, he will make sure that only good and social films are being made. He also told that all the artists in UP will be given the opportunity to work. Apart from actors, other positions like Lightman and Make-up man will also be open for the UP candidates.

PM Narendra Modi had nominated Mr. Srivastav brand ambassador of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. So as he was seen promoting a lot of cleanliness events in various cities. During the Abhiyan, he has made various music videos and shot Tv commercials with a social message for Swacha Bharat Abhiyan.
