Kesari movie review

Kesari (Battle of Saragarhi) is about the a proud, brave and inspirational chapter of our history, one most of India knows little about.  It is a war film that revolves around a battle where in brave Sikh soldiers of India fought with tons of Afghan tribesmen. The battle took place in 1897 and is called Battle of Saragarhi.   The movie received three stars from most of the movie reviewers. Even from the critics the movie received positive response.

Akshay gave his best performance in the title role.  The movie wins full marks for the patriotism it showed.  All characters are handled intelligently by the captain of the ship, Anurag Singh.  Akshay pulls off the entire movie on his shoulders and the remarkable speeches he delivered will remain in the hearts of the audience for a long time. His Punjabi accent should be appreciated.

Kesari also features Parineeti Chopra, Mir Sarwar, Rajpal Yadav, Vansh Bhardwaj and Ashwath Bhatt in pivotal roles.  This war film is expected to break records in the coming days.
