Union Minister Aruj Jaitley shared the recent budget that highlights benefits for the middle-class families. He said, “the middle-class family has been strengthened and will reach to 44 percent of the populations by 2024.”
He also added that the fiscal deficit is higher because of the higher funds allocated to the agricultural schemes and it will be totally overstating that agriculture sector is going through crises.

On the presented budget, the CEO of Flipkart, Kalyan Krishnamurthy said, “It’s good to see the focus of the interim budget on rural sector, middle class. More money in the hands of the rural and middle class is good for driving consumption in the country And hence good for economic growth. More and more local MSME manufacturers and sellers can cater to this increased demand from rural, tier 2/3 towns and we at Flipkart marketplace will be happy to support thousands of such sellers to access the consumers cost-effectively and efficiently.”
