After what happened in Pulwama, the declining relationship between India and Pakistan has become a never-ending debate. Even in the cricket world, many officials have been asked BCCI and Team India to boycott the upcoming 2019 World Cup Match, scheduled for June 16. Also, the well-known cricketers are condemning the shameful act which took place at the Jammu-Srinagar highway in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, where at least 40 CRPF soldiers attained martyrdom.

Now, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has come up in the support of his country’s PM Imran Khan and said India is blaming Pak without any evidence.

Afridi extending his support to Imran also stated that PM Imran had made clear in the recent video that he wants to have friendly relations with India, Afghanistan, Iran, and China. Imran Khan had earlier said in his statement India has blamed the Pakistan government without any evidence and Pakistan would certainly take actions if they could provide them proper prove.

It is clearly seen that Afridi, who is playing for Multan Sultans in the ongoing Pakistan Super League 2019, backed up Pakistan’s prime minister.

“Without any proof, they are putting all the blame onto Pakistan straight away. PM Imran Khan has once again spoken on this matter in a positive & clear way to explain that Pakistan wants to have good relations with not only India but also Afghanistan, Iran & China,” Afridi was quoted as saying by a Pakistan journalist.

A few days back, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the disgraceful incident and expressed his views on the same.

He stated, “My statement is for the Indian government. You (Indian govt) have blamed the Pakistan government without any evidence.”

“It is in our interest that nobody from our soil spreads violence. I want to tell Indian govt that we will take action if evidence is found against anyone from Pakistan. Pakistan ko isse kya faayda hai? Kyu Pakistan karega iss stage ke upar jab Pakistan stability ki taraf ja raha hai?”

Further adding he said, “If you (Indian govt) thinks you will attack us and we will not think of retaliating, we will retaliate. We all know starting a war is in the hands of humans, where it will lead us only God knows. This issue should be solved through dialogue.”.

IMG-Reliance had backed their names from producing the ongoing PSL season 4. Afridi talking about the same had stated, “You find out who your friends are at difficult times. What are they trying to show the world that they are educated? Educated people don’t behave in such a manner”.
