PM Modi Won Hearts With His Kind Gesture Of Washing Feet Of Sanitation Workers At Kumbh 2019

Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has somehow managed to win our hearts with his kind-hearted gestures many times. Recently, Modi washed off the feet of the sanitation workers who have been working tirelessly during the ongoing Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj.

PM Modi also took a holy dip and took blessing in Sangam. On 24th February, PM Modi arrived in Prayagraj where UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath received him.

Taking to Twitter, Narendra Modi shared a video and captioned it as, “Had the good fortune of taking a holy dip at the #Kumbh. Prayed for the well being of 130 Crore Indians.”

Later, he washed the feet of the worker there and felicitated them.

While talking about this year’s Kumbh, PM addressed that the Kumbh Mela was not only about religious gathering but also to send a social message all over India about the Cleanliness.

PM Modi retorted, “It was a big responsibility to keep clean an area where 20-22 crore people had gathered. You have proved there is nothing impossible in the world. The sanitation workers kept doing their work without any recognition and praise”.

Talking about washing the feet of the sanitation workers, he said that this special moment will stay with me forever. He also lauded the Namami Gange mission who cleaned the holy river. “I’ve never seen a cleaner Ganga previously and it has been because of Namami Gange project,” he said.

Kumbh Mela will soon end on 4th March 2019.
