Ankita Lokhande refused to play these roles and even regrets for some of the offers

Ankita Lokhande, the actress who has done debut in the glamour world of Indian Cinema with Manikarnika has been into the limelight. But Manikarnika was not the first offer she got, before this film, she had other big offers waiting for her but finally, she was not ready for doing them because of several issues. She has also bagged another film featuring Sanjay Dutt titled as Mangal.

A list of movies and roles offer to Ankita and she could not make it up due to some sort of issues.

1. Padmaavat

Sanjay approached to Ankita and while Ankita was not in the headspace and finally said no to the director. But the actress later regretted the offer she let go.

2. Baji Rao Mastani

Before Padmaavat Ankita was offered a major role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baji Rao Mastani and Ankita denied for the role as she was not in the mindset of doing so.

3. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

Ankita was offered another show of Ekta Kapoor after Pavita Rishta which was a small cameo role as Shanaya in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, but she said no to the role, and was later portrayed by Ishita herself.

4. Chakravartin Ashok Samrat

In the television Industry, Ankita was offered to play the role of the mother in Samrat Ashok’s drama. But she refused to play the role of a mother.

5. Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar

The Jhalkari Bai was offered to play Pallavi Kulkarni’s role in new drama series opposite to Ronit Roy, but the actress has some other projects to complete

Manikarnika has been running in the theatres and many contentious statements are coming related to the film, on that note, Ankita said in an interview, “I don’t know anything about the controversy. I can’t say anything. None of my scenes were decreased or deleted. Whatever scenes I had were of course shot properly and well. I guess I had more scenes. I have no complaints.”
