Alia Bhatt On Breakup With Sidharth Malhotra: There Is No Bitterness And Bad Vibes Between Them

A few years back in 2012, Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year got released and three debutants made their successful ways to Bollywood named Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan. Now, the trio has been doing exceptionally well at the work fronts and enjoys a huge fan base all over.

However, after the release, everyone praised the actors a lot for their performance especially Alia and Sidharth’s on-screen chemistry. Soon after the movie got hit, rumours of Alia and Sidharth dating each other started making their ways on social media but both of them never confirmed it in public.

However, they have now parted their ways and recently, during his appearance on Karan’s show Koffee With Karan, Sidharth talked about his equation with Alia post their break-up and now Alia has also revealed things about the same.

While Sidharth had said that they haven’t met after their break-up, the 25-year-old actress had said something different. In an interview with DNA, Alia talked about the Aiyaary actor’s comment on the chat show and said, “Yes, I have watched the episode. Sid and I did meet actually.”

“They had shot the episode much before we met so he must have said that. But we have obviously met recently and it was extremely normal,” she added.

She further talked about her equation with Sidharth and said that she has a lot of respect for him and they also started off together in the industry so she has known him for a long time and there’s too much history between them.

“Honestly, there will never be issues. I have nothing but just positivity in my heart for him. I’m sure he wishes the same as well. We have witnessed several milestones of our lives together. He spoke about meeting and chatting and we were fine. There are no bad vibes,” DNA quoted Alia as saying.

On KWK, Sidharth has also retorted that they are cordial even after their split!

Talking about Alia’s work front, on 14th February her movie Gully Boy released and fans are loving it and it has got 4* ratings. Apart from this, she will also be starring in Abhishek Verman’s Kalank, Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra and Karan Johar’s Takht.

Sidharth, on the other hand, will be next seen with Parineeti Chopra in Jabriya Jodi and will also be starring in the upcoming Vikram Batra biopic.
