The life of Jhansi Ki Rani is going to reflect by Kangana upcoming release Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. Rani Lakshmibai’s story should be represented visually to remember the warrior princess. The movie starts with a narration by Amitabh Bachchan. The teaser of the movie was solely focused on Rani Lakshmibai and showed her bravery while facing a lot of obstacles.

The movie is based on showcasing the life of Rani Laxmibai and her tryst with the problems along with her motherly qualities. It shows the tough time when the attainment of the freedom from British Raj was on everyone’s mind. Some of the interesting facts that you need to know about the film are:

1. Kangana got so serious about her character that she said no to a body double. During one of the action scenes, she was hurt so badly that she was immediately taken to the ICU and got 15 stitches.

2. Manikarnika was earlier planned in 1991 by the actor-director Richard Attenborough with Hema Malini. Later Aishwarya Rai was also considered for the role with another producer but unfortunately, the project never took off.

3. Ace fashion designer Neeta Lulla and her team researched for over six months before starting the work on costumes. The armor that Kangana dons in her hand in the movie is hand-stitched by Neha herself.

4. During the shoot, Ankita Lokhande’s foot got frozen due to the low temperature of the location. Then a gas stove was used to unfreeze her foot.

Basically, the plot of the story traces Manikarnika’s journey from her youth to becoming Jhansi Ki Rani.in 1857, she was the bravest warrior of India’s first freedom movement. Along with Kangana Ranaut, the movie stars Ankita Lokhande, Jisshu Sengupta, Mishti Chakraborty, Suresh Oberoi, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Nihar Pandya, Vaibhav Tattwawadi.

The film is released nationwide today and is getting rave reviews from the fans!
