Last year in December, Forbes India’s 2018 list of richest Indian celebrities got released and superstar Salman Khan topped with the highest earnings of  Rs 253.25 crore. Even Padmaavat star Deepika Padukone left many big stars behind her occupied the position 4th with earnings of Rs 114 crore. No doubt, she is among the highest paid celebrities of Bollywood who proved her mettle many times. Other than these celebs, top 5 richest celebrities list is throned with the sportsperson like Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

However, King Khan of Bollywood who slipped from 11th position to 13th with a decent net worth of only Rs 56 crore was in 2018 was on 2nd position in the year 2017 with a whopping income of Rs 170.50 crore. Well, the numbers must hard to digest for him too as he is the one who had no film release in a time frame of (October 1, 2017, and September 30, 2018) and still secured the 2nd position. He had a recent release in December which is Anand L Rai’s Zero opposite Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif did a well business at the box office but failed to impress many critics as well as the audience but they did appreciate the acting of SRK as a dwarf and Katrina.

The list also includes an interesting mix of debutants, including India’s EDM trailblazer Nucleya, Malayalam actor Mammootty, Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda, Telugu director Kortala Siva and actress Taapsee Pannu.
