What do you do when you have an encounter with a robber? A normal person could just panic in such a scary situation. The recent incident from Rio De Janeiro will leave you surprised.

One thief was trying to steal a lady’s mobile phone in Rio De Janeiro, but the thief was unaware of the fact that he is trying to play with fire as the lady was a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter who is famous by her name, ”The Iron Lady”, originally named as Polyana Viana, who is an Ultimate Fighting Champion (UFC) and a true inspiration to many people who probably would panic and cry at such happening.

The 27-years-old lady put him down by two punches and with a kick and the thief was down her knees. Viana on Saturday was waiting for the cab and suddenly a man came near her and said, ‘he had weapons and as soon as he could reach his pockets to get them, the MMA iron lady finished her task.

The lady spoke about the incident and said, “He was really close to me. So I thought, If it’s a gun, he won’t have time to draw it’. So I stood up. I threw two punches and a kick.”

She further added, “He fell, then I caught him in a rear-naked choke. Then I sat him down in the same place we were before and said, “Now we’ll wait for the police’.” She also told the MMA Junkie website, “Since he took the punches very quickly, I think he was scared.”

Till now, the lady has won 10 of her 12 professional fights and is famous for defeating off her opponents quickly.  Recently, in the past in August Polyana triumph won five fights back to back.

She really taught a great lesson to the mugger, don’t you agree?
