Salman Khan Topped India’s Forbes Higgest Paid While Deepika Made It To Top Five

Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming flick Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar which also stars Katrina Kaif, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani and Tabu. He is one of the most popular actors of B’town whose movies never misses to be a blockbuster at the box office.

Recently, the actor topped the Forbes India’s 2018 list of richest Indian celebrities with earnings amounting to Rs 253.25 crore. This is the third time in a row he came first in this list. In his earnings this year, Salman’s movie Tiger Zinda Hai and Race 3 box office business are also included with television appearances and various brand endorsements.

In this list of Forbes, Virat Kohli comes second with total earnings of Rs 228.09 crore. And the third one is occupied by Khiladi, Akshay Kumar with a total gross of Rs 185 crore for the year.

For the very first time, recently married actress Deepika Padukone made into this list at the number fourth with the total earnings of Rs 114 crore for the year. She becomes the first women of 2018 who made into Forbes India list of richest Indian celebrities. While her hubby Ranveer Singh stood at the 8th spot with an earning of Rs. 84.67 crores.

With no release until now, Shahrukh Khan slipped to the 13th position in the list with 33% fewer earnings this year. Soon, his next movie Zero will hit the screens on 21st December. Also his co-star of Don, Priyanka Chopra slipped down to 49th position with earnings of only Rs 18 crore.

A few other names from outside Bollywood has entered this list in which Nayantara from the South Indian film industry become the first woman who made it here. The list also includes an interesting mix of debutants, including India’s EDM trailblazer Nucleya, Malayalam actor Mammootty, Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda, Telugu director Kortala Siva, and Taapsee Pannu.
