The weekend’s episode of Indian Idol season 10 proved to be a star-studded affair with actors Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya and Rajkummar Rao making an appearance on the show. The stars reached the show for the promotion of their film Fanney Khan.

The episode showed top 14 contestants of Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol in which Renu Nagar, the 22-year-old Indian Idol 10 contestant from Alwar, Rajasthan made her place. She with her performance won the heart of the judges Neha Kakkar, Anu Malik and Vishal Dadlani. Also, she impressed guests Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Renu also made Aishwarya and Anil dance to her tunes of Ni main samaj gayi from the movie the actors’ movie Taal. Seeing her singing, Aishwarya Rai couldn’t resist to shake her legs on the tunes. Then, Anil joined the stage to recreate their famous Taal moment of theirs. Later, host of the show Maniesh Paul and Fanney Khan actor Rajkumar Rao also joined the stage.

Also, after a contestant Indira Das gave her performance, her mother asked the actress about her views on the housewives of the country. To this Aishwarya replied, “The housewives are the biggest CEOs in the country and they should be given utmost respect and appreciation in the country. I doff my hat off with full respect and appreciation to all the housewives of the country and the world.”

Remembering an incident, one of the show’s judges Vishal Dadlani said, “Aishwarya Rai Bachchan being one of the most beautiful women in the world is just like any other housewife. As I remember on one of my music world tours when Amitabh Bachchanji had invited me and the whole crew to his suite for a dinner party, the world’s most beautiful lady Aishwarya Rai Bachchan served dinner with her own hands to each and every member of the crew. She served them dessert as well, after which she had her meal.”
