DRDO Is Recruiting: About 500 Job Vacancies With Rs 50,000 per month salary

The Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is hiring. The organisation released a notification recently inviting applications for the post of Senior Technical Assistant (STA ‘B’). About 484 Vacancies are open for which eligible candidates can apply.

Post:

The opening are for the post of Senior Technical Assistant

Age Limit:

The maximum age to apply for the post is 28 years. However, candidates who belong to reserved categories will get age relaxation according to Government norms.

What is the Eligibility Criteria?

1- The candidates should have a BSc degree or a three year diploma that is recognised by UGC (University Grant Commission) or AICTE (All India Council For Technical Education).

2- The candidates who possess a graduate degree from the following subjects can also apply:

a) Computer Science and Engineering

b) Information Technology

c) Computer Science

d) Electronics

e) Electronics and Communications Engineering

What is the pay scale?

The candidates who are selected for the post will get a monthly pay of Rs 50,000. He/She would also be eligible for other allowances like Medical Facility, Leave Travel Concession, Children Education allowance etc.

The Last date for submission of online application is August 29, 2018 by 5:00 PM.

Selection Process:

The candidates will be selected on the basis of a two tier Computer based test. Tier 1 will comprise of 150 marks, while Tier 2 will be of 100 marks.

DRDO comes under the administrative control of Ministry of Defense, Government Of India. It is India’s largest and most diverse research organisation. Formed in 1958, DRDO is headquartered in New Delhi. It has a network of 52 laboratories which deal with developing defense technologies in fields like aeronautics, life sciences, missiles, naval system etc.

It includes about 5,000 scientists belonging to DRDS (Defense Research and Development Service) and about 25,000 people are employees as technical and supporting personnel.
