Kumkum Bhagya fame Mrunal Thakur to make Bollywood entry with Hrithik starrer Super 30

The highly anticipated biographical film on Indian mathematician Anand Kumar, Super 30, which features Hrithik Roshan in the main character will also have small screen actress Mrunal Thakur. Yes, Mrunal Thakur of Kumkum Bhagya Fame will be seen in the lead character opposite Hrithik. The well-known actress will be foraying into the Hindi film industry with Super 30.

The reports added up that Mrunal will don the character of a classical dancer. Mrunal, who will be seen donning the role of Hrithik’s love interest in the much-awaited flick, talked over her character while talking to the media people.

The actress said, “I play a classical dancer. I’ve been learning Kathak from Birju Maharaj’s disciple, Renu Sharma, and have been practising it for the last couple of months.”

“The movie is around 70 per cent complete. I have a few more days of shoot left. A song and some scenes are left to be shot. We are filming the track around July-end or early August. I have a portion in it where I will be doing Kathak,” added Mrunal.

The tale of the movie will be based on the life of Anand Kumar who earned reputation and gratitude after giving tuition to the hopeful pupils for IIT –JEEs from deprived families to fulfil their big dreams of becoming part of well known Indian Institute of Technology.

In addition, Junior Roshan and Mrunal star Pankaj Tripathi will be witnessed donning the main characters in the movie.

Amit Sadh dons the critical role of a storyteller of the biographical film and has the majority of his scenes with superstar Hrithik.

In addition to Mrunal, handsome hunk and small screen actor Nandish Sandhu will also make his Bollywood entry with the movie. He dons the character of Anand’s younger brother in the movie.

In recent times, Hrithik was busy shooting for the initial agenda in the city of Varanasi and afterwards near Rajasthan’s Sambhar Lake.

According to sources, “Only night scenes got canned at Central Library of BHU, depicting instances from the life of Anand Kumar, who had visited BHU to consult foreign journals while preparing to seek admission in the University of Cambridge when he was a student.”

Produced under the banner of Phantom Films, Super 30 is all set to hit theatres by Republic Day on 26 January 2019, together with Soumik Sen’s Cheat India featuring Emraan Hashmi.

Though the visit was kept a well-guarded secret, as news of Hrithik’s arrival spread, a large crowd gathered outside the hotel where he is putting up in the city.
