Ekta Kapoor’s two shows with the K series “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki” were the most popular of the Starplus channel and Ekta got name and fame because of these daily soaps. The leading actresses of these two shows, Smriti Irani and Sakshi Tanwar are very close to Ekta’s heart and even till date, Ekta has a special corner for these two ladies in her heart.

Recently, Ekta met Sakshi Tanwar and she then posted a picture on Instagram with a caption, “A pout and a smile with glee …. a little me and a little we…. a happy Sunday with Sakshi” fans got so much excited and started pouring comment on her picture. One comment from a fan reads,  “Who do you like more? Tulsi or Parvati?”

Ekta gave a smart reply and said,  “what do you like more mam! Ur left or right eye.” After this, Ekta left on more comment that reads, “kidding I like both as both made me who wat I am” and this reply won every person’s heart as she said such an obvious thing, these ladies made Ekta, a very known person who doesn’t need an introduction now.

Recently, Ekta has started Naagin 3 and the show is getting highest TRP. She introduced Karishma Tanna, Anita Hassnandani, and Surbhi Jyoti as three Naagins on the show.

Ekta has also started her own digital channel ALT Balaji which features many shows online.

Earlier, talking about the content era is platform neutral with ALT Balaji, she said, “The audiences are shifting platforms. Young people are lesser on TV and more on the net. If someone wants to watch digital content, he or she watches it alone. On the other hand, film viewing is a more communal experience where you go with family or friends. Television is again for the whole family. There are habitual preferences when it comes to content”.
