Mumbai and New York City are in two far-off continents as we all know. So, the amount of time to travel from one country to another will also be more. However, all thanks to airplanes which makes our journey a bit easy and less exhausting. But even then it takes 14 hours to travel from Mumbai to New York.

The distance between Mumbai and New York is 12,530 KM which is quite a lot. But friends, you need not worry as the distance might be too far but now, you will reach Mumbai to New York in much more less time than before.

Or just guess what if you reach from Mumbai to New York in just 2 hours?

Recently, Boeing unveiled a new concept at an Aerospace Conference.

A hypersonic passenger plane is capable of flying at Mach 5 which comes to approximate 6,276 km/h (5 times the speed of sound). It will cut short most of the long distances to less than half.

The jet could cut down the flight time between Los Angeles and Tokyo to just three hours instead of 11 hours.

Similarly, New York to London journey will be of just 2 hours instead of 7 hours.

Boeing believes hypersonic passenger planes will be the future. The plane is still in the initial stage of its making or we can say a concept for the same is underway.

The future is indeed supersonic.
