The wedding festivities of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding kick-started yesterday with much fanfare. And yesterday after celebrating the function at Anil Kapoor’s Juhu bungalow, the actress’ Mehendi ceremony will be held today at her plush apartment in Sunteck Signature Island at Bandra Kurla Complex. The dress code for the high-profile function is ‘Indian Festive-Shades of White.’

And here’s the first glimpse of the bride-to-be and groom-to-be as they pose for the click. Both of them are twinning in white and gold and we are simply loving it. Well, the fun has just started, let’s wait and watch.

Along with the sangeet, as per the Sikh rituals, there’s a Chooda ceremony held a day before the wedding. Sonam too enjoyed it while she tried dropping her kaleera on Jahnvi but she did not succeed. For all those who are unaware, if the kaleera drops on a girl’s head, its considered as auspicious and she gets married soon.

But before that all the Kapoor sisters and Sonam’s friends came forward to tie the kaleeras in her hand.

The madness continues with a fleet of stars joining the celebrations. Varun Dhawan, Karisma Kapoor and more stars add fun to the evening.
