‘102 Not Out’ Actor Jimit Trivedi Reveals Unknown Facts About Co-stars Big B and Rishi Kapoor

Jimit Trivedi, who was last seen in Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy Bhool Bulaiyya, will now be seen sharing screen space with superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in Umesh Shukla directorial ‘102 Not Out’. The film is based on the Gujarati play written by Saumya Joshi.

Jimit shared his experience of working with Bollywood’s two great veteran actors, revealing some unknown facts about them. Jimit said he was surprised on Rishi Kapoor making efforts to extract his information to mention him in his tweets. “He had asked my full name and took the pain to Google me, take my picture and put it on Twitter. It was just the first day of the shoot and our first meeting so I was all the more happy,” the actor said.

Jimit revealed that he quite well got along with the 65-yr old actor while shooting for the film. The two often used to chat in between the shots. “It was like sitting in a class and chatting up with your friend. Bachchan sir is very disciplined. He speaks less but when he does we all enjoy. I asked about his experience on Great Gatsby, Thugs of Hindostan.”

“Rishi sir is spontaneous, he gives one take and gives another take differently. Bachchan sir is a methodical actor, he rehearses, picks up the props. It is the same process like theatre,” he further added.

Jimit knows well that he will go quite unnoticed as against Bollywood’s two biggest stars in the movie, but for him, the biggest joy is sharing the screen space with them. “People will notice even if you do a small role. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is the biggest example, he was not a regular junior artiste back then, today he is a big star. I am not an insecure actor. People should like my work, if they don’t, I will rectify.”

Jimit plays the role of Dhiru in the film. He says the writer of the film, Saumya Joshi had approached him earlier in 2011 to be a part of his play, 102 Not Out, but he couldn’t do as he was busy for another play with Paresh Rawal. But the destiny again took him to the same play, this time with its film version.

102 Not Out is directed by Umesh Shukla and will hit the theatres on May 4.
