Tweeps go crazy after watching Deepika’s midriff covered in new version of Ghoomar Song

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s forthcoming movie Padmaavat is ready to hit theaters on January 25 after getting a new name as ordered by the Central Board of Film Certification. But, it is not the single thing, which has been twisted. Among all the debates happening around the much-talked-about movie, a slight modification has trapped the Twitterati’s eye and created quite a hum on the social platform.

Spotted by a lot of people on the social platform, the official recording of the popular number Ghoomar has been altered. In the newest video recording, the outfit of Deepika Padukone has been amended and her midriff that was depicted in the earlier preview has been concealed with VFX shots.

Whilst the original video recording is still accessible on the popular site, YouTube, people on social media get puzzled regarding this exacting move. Whilst a few exclaimed the revision to be needless, others were questioning whether Sanjay Leela would ‘think releasing a director’s cut of the film’. Furthermore, there were some who doubted whether all the discussion around the film was owing to the open midriff and inquired the same.

Check out some of the responses after the edited edition of the video recording was put up:

Solomon tweeted, “@ShobhaIyerSant I hope Bhansali will consider releasing a directors cut of the movie on blu Ray? I saw the super unnecessary (but very well done) editing of Deepikas midriff in Ghoomar… 😧 I’m shocked the vision of such a legendary filmmaker is being stifled.”

Call me by my handle tweeted, “Happy to announce that Hindu culture has been saved. the video of ‘Ghoomar’ on YouTube has been replaced by one that uses CGI to ‘cover up’ three inches of bare midriff. bee em kay jay.”

Akshay Parvatkar tweeted, “The video is the same original one with the edits. This is crazy.”

Tee ™ ✨ tweeted, “So they have manoeuvred Deepika’s waist in #Ghoomar using some VFX technique. Says a lot about the country that we live in. 👏
