No humans, robots will serve you food at this new Restaurant in Chennai!

If you want to meet robots in person then Chennai is the best option for you. Make your way in the direction of a Chinese restaurant called MOMO, now christened and relaunched as Robot in Chennai’s Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), which offers up genuine forms of dumplings.

What’s appealing is that robots are in a job as ‘waiters’ to serve food to the visitors at the table.

The well known Robot restaurant is completely based on robot idea, which has 4 robots in total serving up the foods to the visitors that is said to be the first in the nation. The eating house has been rolled out by Venkatesh Rajendran and Karthik Kannan.

At this eating place, visitors can place their food orders that mainly consist of Thai and Chinese food without saying a single word. In its place, phone tabs get positioned on each and every table and the person can place his/her order from them. The placed order is forwarded across straightly to the kitchen. Once the ordered food gets ready, one of the four robots takes it into its hands and serves it the client.

All the robotic machines are battery controlled and get instructions via sensing elements and in actual fact, they can stop when someone blocks their way ahead. Interestingly enough, the originators have guaranteed an experience each and every client can have with them. A special corner has been made for people who want to take selfie with the robots.

When we talk about the food options available at the restaurant, it serves delicious Chinese and Thai cuisines that may comprise soups, momos, curries, baos, noodles and fried rice and a number of other foods. In addition, you cannot ignore the Indian-ness with kulfis together with brownies and types of ice-cream flavours.

The originators will currently be eyeing to expand their eating place in other regions of Chennai and also improve their robots. The neon drawing on all sides will force you visit Robot over and over again. So, are you prepared to meet and welcome technology head to head?
