Ram Kapoor’s Comedy High School will start from coming Saturday on the channel Discovery JEET. The promos of the show of the show are on-air and Salman will be seen the premiere episode of the non-fiction show.

But, let us inform you that getting him for the premiere episode was not easy for the makers.

A source told, “Salman quoted a price of Rs 4 crore for shooting the episode which is a huge amount. However, the makers were keen on a grand launch for the show and thus agreed to shell out the amount.”

The concept of the show is, it will have one celebrity as the guest for every episode. But, this show is not similar to other show, the star will not just see cast performing but the star will be part of the operations.

In the first episode, Salman Khan will come to the school. Ram Kapoor plays the principal role in the school and has a number actors as his staff members. They have a task to impress Salman Khan so that he will donate some money to the school.

Adds the source, “Salman shot for the episode in question on January 31. He came on-set at 4 pm at SJ Studios (Sakinaka) and shot till 10:30 pm.

Talking about Salman being the first guest, Ram Kapoor said “Salman Khan came in as himself, however, instead of a sit down interview, he was involved with the cast. The comedy happens around ‘Salman Khan aaya hai school mein’. The fact that celebrities are part of our performances is fresh.”
